Today I’ve been trying to play around a bit with some of the features of the blog. I was hoping to be able to do some social bookmarking but so far no luck with del.icio.us. I just can’t seem to get it to work. If anyone knows what to do I would sure appreciate some more insight.
Okay: this is Dana – I’ll give it a shot – but don’t take me for my word: I’m as about lost as anyone out here on the Wild West Web Frontier.
- find a site, application, program or whatever that you like…
- copy the url address…
- open delicio and hit post…
- paste the url in the narrow horizontal box provided…
- hit save…
- you will be prompted to add a few descriptors…
- hit save again and it should post to your weblog…
- it may not show on your weblog right away but it shall eventually…
- now you can access this site from your weblog or in your delcio account whenever…
This is basically what I use it for at present, I hope that this was helpful?
Take Care,
Dana
Maureen, I hope that you read your blog comments tonight because the kids have the phone tied up and I can’t get on Skype for fear of waking the resident shift worker. Anyway, to get that del.icio.us sidebar, that we were speaking of last night, to show on your screen, go to the toolbar at the top of your screen, click on View, move your cursor down to Sidebar, move right to the arrow, a menu should fall down, then, click on del.icio.us. The sidebar should appear … not on your blog but on your screen. Good luck … let me know how you do … I’ll be out of the city until, approximately, Saturday p.m.
